Lovely original late 1930s to early 1940s Hungarian Peasant Blouse in off-white fine cotton or cotton/viscose blend.
Generously hand embroidered in traditional floral patterns around the neckline, bust and sleeves with blanket stitched edges and hand-smocked waist.
The sleeves have a gentle balloon shape.
No fastening but pulls over the head. The smocked waist is slightly elastic.
Made in Hungary.
Minor wear to the points around the neckline and a few tiny marks. Please see detailed images.
