Simply beautiful original vintage 1940s Peasant Blouse in off-white semi-sheer cotton muslin.
Generously hand embroidered in vibrant floral patterns around the neckline, bust and sleeves.
The sleeves have a gentle balloon shape with hand smocked cuffs.
French seams.
Fastens with a single button at the nape of the neck and poppers at the side of the waist.
A tiny "near hole" at the front of the hip and old mends under the arms but very well done so not very noticeable. Please see detailed image.
