Just beautiful 1920s Art Deco necklace in rare Platinon alloy metal with a linked crystals drop.
Platinon was produced in Birmingham from 1922 to 1929 designed to imitate platinum and was used for only a few years to produce high quality costume jewellery so finding pieces made of this is very rare.
Secure spring clasp fastening.
Stamped Platinon.

• Bust - Measured flat from underarm to underarm and doubled

• Sleeve Length - Measured flat from shoulder to hem

• Sleeve Width - Measured flat at hem and doubled

• Waist - Measured flat at narrowest point and doubled

• Hip - Measured flat at widest point below waist and doubled

• Length - Measured flat from shoulder to hem
• Mint - Hardly any signs of wear, looks new. Applies mainly to deadstock or unworn items.

• Excellent - Normal signs of wear expected for age.

• Great - Shows normal signs of wear expected for age with some minor visible damage but will not deter from value.

• Good - Has obvious signs of wear, structurally intact. Damage could be fixed to improve condition.

• Fair - Visible damage but item has enough fashion interest.
