Oh So Beautiful late 1930s Gown with fitted Belt and kimono style sleeves. Without tying the belt this Gown is a kaftan shape but when tied at the waist creates the trademark silhouette of the 30's! The neckline is rather daring for it's time and comes down nearly 16". This is most likely due to the gown being worn in the house with a lacy slip under but we much prefer if this would be used as the Most Striking Evening Dress where the neckline brings us right in to today's trends and Fashion. There is one pen mark on the skirt and faltering stitching by the collar, please see detailed images. The stitching could most likey be rectified by a seamstress and when worn, the pen mark is very hard to notice.
